It's not always easy to produce a first album and some artistes have only taken consolation in just producing a few track songs and videos. The cost and energy required is enormous after which you may also have to face the hazards associated with piracy that may reproduce your album and sell for as low as N100 without paying you a dime. It is not easy to be a musician in the world, more so even in Nigeria with the Nigerian factor that affects you. Nigerian songs have somehow triumphed over these hazards and are still allowing the artistes to have a little kickback to depend on before producing a second and then a third. It takes time, the right producers and the right message which would help you market your songs to Nigerians at large. The problem with most musicians is that the economy is so harsh that they are too eager to finish their album as soon as possible to have time to cater for his other needs. This causes poor music quality and poor sales for their output. We should understand that good things don't come easy and it doesn't matter if it takes a year to produce one which you have devoted your creativity to and when you finally release your song, you'll feel justified that you've put in that extra effort. Spend what it takes to produce a good album and you'll see that the end result would pay you well.
